Science Fiction

Science fiction is what happens when smart people ask “what if?” and then stay up way too late building the answer. You’ll get laser guns with questionable safety features, aliens who are either our best friends or our lunch, and robots with more emotional intelligence than your last three dates. Spaceships break down, wormholes lead to very awkward first contacts, and someone always volunteers to test the unproven cryo-chamber. It’s the only genre where you can worry about your taxes and a galaxy-spanning empire at the same time. So buckle up, suspend a few laws of physics, and remember: the future is terrifying, hilarious, and probably run by a toaster. But oh, what a ride.
